This is the second part of several parts on How to digitize.
The first step is to digitize the underlay. UNDERLAY is the foundation to your embroidery design. It is what locks the material to the backing and designs a flat area for the embroidery. Underlay is very important and there are several ways to digitize it. Please let us know what you think. http://www.MadPunch.com/MadCaptivate...erlay_demo.htm GOOD LUCK |

So I'm really new to embroidery so my confusion may be about some basics rather than this software: looking at this tutorial, it seems to me that the "Underlay" plus sign is aligned with the top of the letters, and with the very bottom on the entire image. I was wondering if I'm seeing this correctly and why this is so. Please feel free to roll your eyes and a newby and send me a link with embroidery for dummies or something. Thanks!

Your software is cool! Can you help me out, trying to do the underlay for my logo and I'm not getting the nice layout that you are getting in your demo... attached a picture on what I am getting... I'm obviously doing something wrong.... would you be kind enough to kick me back into the proper direction?
thanks a bunch for your patience!!!!
