Default Adding Nodes or stitches / import vectorized files

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a possibility to add some nodes and/or stitches to an existing design
If so, could somebody provide a little tutorial ?
I have another question: does the software import vectorized files as *.EPS so that we do not have to digitize image with MAP PUNCH, but fill it ?...

Thank you
Teddy

Select the magnifying glass icon(white and green) and drag the mouse on your design. On that way you will create the place you want to zoom in. You can see this place in the "air view" window and move it to an other place.
I only succeed to add stitches at the end of a created object (which I catch with the blue arrows or the "Explorer" window) in continuous mode(F3).
I am looking for the use of "expand" in the list of stitches.
Hope you can understand anything of my explanations! Thanks to those who can answer the other questions .
